Job Description

The Role:
Are you ready to join a team involved with designing exciting products for a great company? Logitech G and Astro Gaming are now looking for a Color, Material and Finish (CMF) Technical Manager to join the Gaming audio team.

  • Perform painting / printing / plating trials, troubleshooting on-site, support product projects
  • Manage mini-OEM painting projects
  • Managing / work with paint and painting, ink / printing, plating, molding and other CMF related vendors
  • Provide CMF consulting, training and support service to global team (ME, QA, Commodity, PMs...)
  • Support CMF PFE projects (independent research on painting, printing, plating, new materials, new deco tech...)
  • Support on-going supplier audit for new tech, cost-down on existing tech...
  • Providing a stable service to customers and partners


Key Qualifications:
For consideration, you must bring the following skills and behaviors to our team:

  • Technical competence
  • Keeper of the quality of painting / printing / plating in trials and MP, solving problem systematically, see-through paints / inks from development to MP, throughout define, approve, develop, qualify new cosmetics
  • Skilled auditor according to ISO 2000, maintain a pro-active partnership with key CMF suppliers
  • Experienced engineer in painting / printing plating, and learn quickly new CMF related techniques
  • Good communicator as the CMF consultant
  • Professional CMF supporter to PMs and CMF team members
  • Write CMF specifications and present data logically
  • Experienced trainer to junior engineers, Lab technicians
  • Familiar with materials knowhow & technology (plastic, foam, fabric, metal, flexible technology and so on)

  • Personal competence
  • Fluent English (reading, speaking and writing)
  • Good communication skills
  • Attention to details and flexible in a fast-moving environment
  • Being able to work efficiently in a global, multi-cultural team
  • Willing to travel
  • Able to work with overseas suppliers
  • Willing to grow with Gaming audio team

  • Education

University degree or above - training in one of the following specialties: chemistry, chemical engineering, materials science and engineering, printing technology, mechanical engineering

  • Experience (minimum)
  • 5 years experience as a painting engineer
  • 5 years experience in electronic manufacturing or related industries: molding, painting, printing, plastic decoration, metal process
  • 5 years experience in managing suppliers in high volume production
  • 5 years experience working as a project engineer
