Objective

To enhance R&D working force in China in the field of combustion to identify and execute R&D projects and provide technical supporting activities for Air Liquide China's growth servicing the industries related to combustion.

Accountability

• Build up excellent technical knowledge in combustion field;
• In deep understanding of the combustion process;
• Watch out for new developments in the industry;
• Explore new area and identify new research topic in the domain;
• Set up R&D project strategy and technical development plan;
• Elaborate and adjust the technical approaches of the projects;
• Lead the project execution and reporting in China;
• Implement and drive research collaborations with leading universities, institutes, and industry partners in China;
• Participate in global R&D project development;
• Promote the AL quality and safety objectives;

Qualification

• Ph.D. in thermal engineering or thermal physics, Chemical engineering& Technology ;
• At least 3 years of research and working experience in combustion, industrial furnace, or metal smelting fields;
• Extended network in academy and industry of the related fields;
• Effective written and verbal communication skills in English;
• Self-motivated, self-organised, creative and target orientated, team mindset
• Ability to identify, plan, and execute R&D projects;
• Skill to think about concept, make drawing
• Protection of our know how with patent
• Cooperative and good team player;

• Flexibility for travelling;
