Job Summary Be an advocate of transitioning towards digital buildings (end to end): from customer interfacing … to managing ‘Digitally’ a building. Internally and externally. Develop/Update the Commercial Building strategy to position Eaton in a leadership position given its current strengths and new market trends. Be a subject matter expert in the buildings segment, leading a team to ensure South and Southern African countries grow their market share in line with a firm route to market strategy. Lead and mentor a diverse segment based sales team to achieve the overall profit plan, either via direct or channel based sales. Drive specification through the Commercial Building Segment supply and value engineering chains including End user, Electrical, Electronic and fire Consulting Engineers in line with Contractor, installer engagement programs. Your Key Responsibilities: Strategy Track market trends across all sub segments through market research and Voice of Customers Develop and maintain the sub-segmentation, Market attractiveness, Go to Market Define and update ‘How to Win’ strategy for the segment with focus on the top 3 sub segments for South and Southern Africa Develop and support execution of the Commercial Building 2025 stretch goals and plans (growth and investments) – align with sponsors. Support Eaton planning management cycle: 5-year strategic plan and yearly Profit Plan Drive the transition towards digital buildings (end to end): customer facing tools, BIM objects, digital solutions, including panel builder and consulting engineer tools to define and manage buildings including new service revenue models … Develop a map of required partnerships to fill identified gaps or exploit new opportunities - identify and make recommendations to leadership regarding new strategic partnerships. Develop and deploy the framework and content of a consultant programs to increase early project specification and generate demand in countries. Marketing Demonstrate deep understanding of the market to a sub-segment level. Engage with internal and external stakeholders including customers and relevant industry bodies to represent Eaton as an active participant and trusted brand. Be engaged in Public Affairs and Relationship, including targeted associations relevant to Commercial Buildings. Ensure the segment messaging is updated and communicated through the organization and our marcom and sales activities Be fully engaged in the New Product Development/New Product Introduction process lead by the business units – be considered as critical partner for building up value proposition, value selling, revenue models and go to market. Lead, define and manage the content creation roadmap with Marcom such as value propositions, white papers, customer success stories, partner references that communicate Eaton's business value messaging. Work closely with the Commercial Buildings marcom leader to develop centrally content that will be deployed in countries. Review together (through the country Integrated Marketing Campaign) the local deployment plan, budget and the return on investment (ex: new leads, contacts ….) Work closely with the sales enablement team to create content and deliver knowledge to support the field in sales and channel (training decks, customer presentations, webinars…)." Ensure alignment of the overall customer engagement programs of Commercial Building sales team and product management support." Are you? Qualifications Required: Years and area of experience required: At least 3 years sales management experience in Electrical sector with emphasis in the commercial building space Technical knowledge: MV, LV, UPS and fire Soft skills: Proven track record in managing and directing a highly skilled, motivated, successful and results-orientated team.Presentation Skills, Public Speaking, Ability to coach and train individuals Then we want to hear about you!
