Job Description

Core Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead cross functional Channel Management Team in order to guarantee the effective implementation and monitoring of Brand plan actions, including Institutional / Tender management, and pharmacy sales.
  • Driving innovation in the business finding and implementing innovative approaches and marketing channels
  • Guaranteeing an effective product communication, promotional supports and implementation of marketing plan in order to reach sales objectives and margins, considering also the market access implications
  • Lead with marketing teams across one or more therapeutic areas, the definition, design, execution and measurement of all digital marketing / omnichannel customer experience strategies and tactics to deliver on the brands’ objectives to drive their desired business outcomes.
  • Leading the Commercial Department to ensure country input into shaping the regional commercial strategy.
  • The preparation of the budget on a yearly basis with a 5 year projection.
  • The implementation and monitoring of Distributor Contracts and relationships.
  • To ensure that the Regional office is constantly updated on developments in the markets.

Essential Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and/or health care industry with proven Sales and Marketing experience
  • Successful cross-functional leadership experience and strong influencing skills. Leadership maturity with the ability to set clear direction and inspire commitment to deliver.
  • Broad commercial acumen – with evidence of strong commercial execution on a country level and complex problem-solving skills
  • Highly collaborative and able to lead both internal and external stakeholder relationships optimally
  • Significant project management experience, with a focus on high-priority strategic initiatives
  • Ability to coach, mentor and develop staff
  • In-depth understanding of commercial strategy, methodologies and tools  (forecasting, pricing & reimbursement, market research techniques, life cycle, competitive intelligence resources)
  • Experience in launching new products
  • Ability to analyze and interpret amounts of complex market and financial data
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and courage on taking decisions
  • Experience managing and engaging with teams remotely
  • Demonstrated ability to bring ideas to action
  • Fluency in English and Spanish is essential

Preferred Background:

  • MBA
  • Knowledge and interest in new and emerging healthcare technologies
  • Experience across multiple promotional channels (Personal, Non-Personal and Digital, Patient awareness)
  • Understanding/experience of Agile Methodology
