The Role

Are you a fully qualified accountant looking for the next step in your career? An exciting role is available to support the Group Commercial Finance Director, the Commercial Financial Business Partner will provide the IT, and other Group Functions leadership teams with financial data and insight to support decision making and analysis of performance. 

Primary Responsibilities

* Extensive involvement in financial planning, analysis, budgeting and forecasting.
* Assist in preparing relevant papers for senior level meetings with stakeholders across the business.
* Development of relationships across a broad spectrum of stakeholders, including the ability to work with and provide challenge to those colleagues
* Continuous development of financial modelling, helping to drive commercial decision making with business stakeholders through analysis 
* Focus on increasing analytics capabilities, including new initiatives to interrogate data.
* Ad hoc requests as required.

Desired Skills and Competencies

* Qualified accountant
* Strong commercial mind-set.
* Previous position in a FP&A or business partnering role.
* Focused on delivery to deadlines and attention to detail
* Strong analytical skills and ability to identify performance improvements
* Strong communication skills - Be comfortable acting as an adviser and presenting to senior stakeholders. 
* Advanced Excel skills
* Hyperion knowledge preferable
* Able to prioritise and manage tasks in a high-pressure environment and meet strict deadlines. 
* Strong organization and time management skills
