Commercial Finance Intern

Our Commercial Finance Department is looking for a credit intern with serious analytical skills. The intern will assist in the underwriting of the commercial portfolio for dealers or dealer groups, typically with exposure up to $30 million. The intern will be expected to evaluate and communicate the credit worthiness of existing as well as new borrowers based on complex financial and risk analysis. The intern will also provide ad-hoc reporting and analysis for the Commercial Finance management team.

The intern will be required to work a minimum of 16 hours M-F 8AM-5PM EST. The internship is based in our Hilliard, OH office. Relocation assistance is not available.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

Working toward a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or another appropriate (includes accounting and/or finance curriculum degree with a minimum GPA of 3.0.)

Have full time status at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States.

Completed at least 30 credit hours.

Transfer students must have a GPA from current university.

Complete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term.

Must have the legal right to work in the United States.

Preferred Skills:

Should possess strong written/verbal communication skills, a positive attitude, analytical thinking with attention to detail, as well as the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Bilingual in English and Spanish.
