To find out more about us check: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=baa_aiJ4L7E Commercial Finance Manager is reporting to the Nordic Zone Controller, manages the financial and accounting operation and activities of the Electrical Sales Organization in Sweden in accordance with prescribed Corporate, Divisional, and country policies and procedures. Provide support and direction for all of the financial, reporting, and general accounting functions of the respective unit. Lead all financial reporting, budgeting, planning, and forecasting required by the Corporation, Division and business. Ensures adherence with generally accepted accounting principles. Work closely with the Nordic Zone Controller, finance team based in Espoo, Finland and shared corporate centers including Budapest and Pune. Annual sales of $68M. Your main responsibilities Responsible for providing the finance and accounting functions of Sweden Sales Be a strong business partner for sales and other functions, influence the direction and way of doing business based on Eaton’s overall strategy Manages financial reporting, planning, analysis, internal controls, and balance sheet review processes Working closely with finance colleagues across the Nordic Zone (countries including Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia), and in particular the finance team based in Espoo, Finland who provide a local shared service support for the Zone Working closely and cooperatively with Eaton Shared Service Centres, specifically those based in Budapest and Pune, India Provides financial direction and support through a functional reporting organization, including the business unit leadership team, local management, and functional finance organization Overseeing and ensuring robust internal control processes, including Sarbanes-Oxley compliance requirements as designed by Eaton. Analyzes significant variances in our working capital and operating results to ensure the accuracy of our financial reporting and initiates corrective action as required. Assist in improvements in processes when applicable through the implementation of new technology and or improved procedures. Analyze operating requirements for the business in view of projected market, business and economic trends. Oversight of the timely completion of the statutory accounts and income tax returns for all Swedish legal entities and liaising with the auditors and external advisors as well as the Eaton indirect and direct tax C of E Fosters an environment that promotes Eaton’s goals, philosophies, and encourages continuous improvement. Qualifications Your essential skills we are looking for Professional qualification(s) in Finance / Accounting, including US GAAP experience Several years of experience in Finance Planning & Analysis, Corporate Accounting, Controllership area, preferably with Sales or Commercial domain knowledge Knowledge in accounting systems and tools: ERP (SAP preferred), advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, preferably also in Power BI Drive and enthusiasm to assist in growing the business and to improve processes. Fluent in English and Swedish Strong and effective interpersonal skills; able to communicate complex topics in an effective and concise manner Travel, although limited, between the various Eaton Electrical Country locations, especially within the Nordic Zone.
