In this vital role the Commercial Forecasting Senior Manager will play a critical role in assessing biosimilar and innovative pharmaceutical markets in all regions. This position will partner within the Global Biosimilars Team including marketing, value and access, financial and medical teams to support/build analytical capabilities and inform Global Biosimilar Commercial team initiatives. The Global Biosimilars Team is continually assessing new opportunities by studying established and growing pharmaceutical markets on a global scale.

This role will provide integrated analysis combining multiple primary and secondary data sources to uncover insights that will ultimately provide revenue guidance, thus informing the valuation process for the Global Biosimilars Team. This individual will engage with subject matter specialists and business unit leadership while leading quantitative and qualitative analyses to support three critical areas: Leading forecasting analytics in both patient and unit based models, scenario planning; analysis of proposed policy and price initiatives in both a U.S and Global setting; assessment of portfolio expansion molecules; business development analytics related to out-licensing, in-licensing opportunities, biosimilar target molecule assessment and ad hoc analyses.

In carrying out this role, the Commercial Forecasting Senior Manager will have frequent interaction with leaders across the company.

Basic Qualifications:

Doctorate degree and 2 years of analytics, consulting or finance experience

Or

Master’s degree and 4 years of analytics, consulting or finance experience

Or

Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of analytics, consulting or finance experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Forecasting experience

• Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting or related field of study

• MBA or CPA

• 3+ years of financial/pricing/marketing analysis experience within a revenue driven environment.

• Healthcare experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, health care, and/or strategy consulting with specific experience and expertise in forecasting, pricing, coverage, access and reimbursement drivers impacting the biopharmaceutical industry.

• High degree of analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong understanding of business strategies

This position will support the Global Biosimilars Commercial team through the following skills

• Ability to conceptualize and carry out multiple projects with ambiguous assumptions and data sources.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data and present results to senior management in a professional, clear, and concise manner.

• Ability to think strategically to support key business decisions.

• Enthusiasm and interest about disease states and healthcare economic systems is essential.

• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Word

• Ability to analyze third party data and determine usefulness and limitations.

• Working knowledge of or ability to quickly learn commonly used biopharmaceutical industry datasets and databases is essential.

• Ability to work collaboratively in team-based environment across different functional groups.

• Influences leadership to incorporate key findings, insights and intelligence into program strategy.

• Stays current with data and analytics techniques and capabilities; and lead implementation of new methodologies and best practices.

• Skill in handling multiple responsibilities, priorities, tasks and projects simultaneously.

• Excellent oral, written and presentation skills with ability to explain complex concepts and findings clearly to a variety of audiences, including senior management.
