AstraZeneca´s Nordic Marketing Company logistics function supports and ensures high supply chain service level and product availability to the Nordic and Baltic markets.  You have now the exciting opportunity to join our team as Commercial Logistic Lead for at least 16 months in one of the AstraZeneca Baltic offices (Vilnius, Riga or Tallinn).

The role

The role as Commercial Logistics Lead comprises of operative, tactical, and strategic administrative and tasks. This includes for example, to ensure that AstraZeneca products are delivered according to customer agreements and plan and to support product range changes (launch, switch, discontinuations). Additionally, this role is responsible to ensure that the supply chain network is properly informed and changes are executed logistically correct.

All work is conducted in compliance to GDP-instructions, logistics SOP, and company policies.

What you will do

  • Supply and distribution (logistic) flows and processes connected to a market or Business unit
  • Lead, monitor or supporting new/updating distribution agreements and relations with agents
  • Volume forecasting and gathering/sharing of Market intelligence with business counterparts
  • Range Management with close involvement in new product launches, switches or discontinuations
  • Take active part or lead projects related to logistics and drive areas of improvements

We are looking for an individual with work experience from supply chain, logistics and wholesales activities, preferably within, but not limited to, the pharmaceutical industry. You have an academic degree or equivalent and an understanding of processes in the healthcare sector.

We expect you to be familiar with SAP Business management software and the Sales Order to Cash process. Experience with Business Warehouse modules is beneficial.

As a person you possess a high drive to work within a self-directed, and at the same time collaborative environment, with both internal and external partners. Here, you can make use of your excellent interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills. Proficiency in written and spoken English as well as one or more Baltic languages (LT, LV, EE, RU) is crucial to succeed in this role.
