Job Responsibility:

• Assisting the Commercial Director/Project Manager in defining contractual strategy
• Participation in project commercial review and valuation and progress meetings
• Drafting claims, Delay analysis, Valuation of Variations
• Ensuring the project correspondence complies with the contract requirements and corporate values
• Provision of pro-active specialist expertise and advice on all proposed scope changes
• Recommends mitigating action on commercial risk; undertakes cost analyses; manages commercial correspondence and leads final account settlement
• Reviewing cost elements and confirmation of whether valuations are consistent with agreed site progress

Job Requirement:

• Degree or above in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
• Preferably with MHKIS, MRICS, PRS, ACIArb professional qualifications
• Minimum 15 years proven experience in QS work in civil engineering projects (experience on design and build projects is an advantage) with main contractors, of which at least 5 years in managerial level)
• Good business acumen, communication, presentation & negotiation skills
• Proficiency in written & spoken English and Chinese. Mandarin is an advantage
