Eaton is seeking a Commercial Marketing Manager – Data Center to join our team! This hybrid role is located in Raleigh, NC. Relocation assistance is available. Position Overview: The Commercial Marketing Manager - Data Center serves as a liaison between the CPDI (Critical Power & Digital Infrastructure) product teams and the Data Center vertical sales organization; working closely with marketing communications to develop market messaging and promote CPDI products, technologies, and services. Essential Responsibilities: Drive annual profit plan sales and margin attainment by leading the Americas commercial marketing activities for CPDI including value proposition design product positioning and messaging sales & marketing materials and tools market & competitive intelligence new product commercialization commercial marketing programs Assist in developing the annual Data Center Vertical Operating Plan and provide input to the CPDI Strategic Plan and Profit Plan. Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Bachelor degree in Marketing or Engineering 5+ years’ related experience; preferably in commercial marketing and/or sales Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship both now and in the future. Preferred qualifications: MBA or advanced degree preferred, from an accredited institution Product Line Management/Marketing experience in Data Centers, power, technology, or energy industry Global experience In-depth knowledge of UPS, PDU, service, & software applications, and markets Product launch experience in the Datacenter/IT market Position Criteria: Ability to think and act strategically Ability to influence and work across matrix organization; strong team building and leadership skills Strong business acumen skills Excellent communication (verbal and written) across the organization and presentation skills Strong data mining and analysis skills Strong drive for results; willingness to take initiative Bias for action / results and ability to work under pressure Authentic leader with experience and success in entrepreneurial strategies requiring global business and engineering platforms Must have the ability to work effectively in a fast-changing, fast-paced and demanding environment We are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for all job applicants and employees.
