The One Commercial Partner (OCP) organization has the charter to accelerate Microsoft’s growth through our growing partner ecosystem. Within this new team, leading and landing this integrated motion for the company with a partner first approach. OCP organziation is centered around 3 core motions: build-wth, GTM, and sell-with. This organization is at the forefront of guiding the definition and establishing excellence in execution across the global OCP teams.

 

OCP is looking for a highly motivated leader who will be responsible for leading the OCP business in the EMEA Region, which includes APAC, Australia, GCR, Japan and India. You will be responsible for building capability, driving performance excellence, developing a robust strategy, landing key deals and being the connection to Corporate and wider Global OCP community. You will represent the countries that make up Asia and will partner closely with OCP Corporate and your peer Regional business Leads in EMEA and the Americas to communicate insights, share best practices and report on performance to ensure that the business is on track, and when necessary escalate, inspect and coach the required correction of errors with ASIA field leaders.

As a team leader, you will be accountable for working with the areas to develop and nurture an ecosystem of Partners that, together with Microsoft’s sales force, will deliver successful solutions to our joint customers and achieve our business goals. You and your team will work with Areas and Subsidiaries within the ASIA TZ to recruit, develop and grow Partners, executing build-with, go to market and co-sell motions with excellence and ensuring both customer and partner satisfaction. You will build a strong and frequent connection with the senior field leadership Team in Asia to be successful in this role.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • Review and coach on customer acquisition plans through the Better Work Together Tour, track progress on a monthly basis, surface challenges and communicate resolution, promote best practices
    • Build consortiums of field champions to share learning and practices from across Regions on our toughest challenges
    • Office 365 Customer Adds
    • Dynamics 365 Customer Adds
    • Azure Customer Adds
    • Accelerate co-sell motion
    • Create industry community
  • Review and coach on Co-Sell motion and partner attach plans, track progress on a monthly basis, surface challenges and communicate resolution, promote best practices
    • Review and coach on IP Co-sell plans, track progress on a monthly basis, surface challenges and communicate resolution, promote best practices, coach and review CoE plans where needed
    • Review portfolio planning Territory Planning plans review and coaching (new naming in SMC)
    • IP Co-Sell

  • Grow Platform value leading with Industry and AI solution
    • Help land PDM-R role
    • Review and coach on plans around ISV Recruit implementation with Inside Sales, track progress on a monthly basis, surface challenges and help resolution, promote best practices
    • Help with expansion of solutions from global ISVs in asia
    • Review and coach on Azure consumed revenue plans, track progress on a monthly basis, surface challenges and communicate resolution, promote best practices
    • Define and execute partner strategy for AI with PMA-S

  • Provide quarterly insights to OCP LT on field insights for each Asia area on what is working well and not well, key challenges and best practices aligned to our core OCP priorities in preparation of the OCP QBC and Area QBCs

 

  • Coach and guide OCP Leads on operational requirements, track progress on a monthly basis, surface challenges and help resolution, promote best practices

 

  • Help shape and implement in your region the OCP Blue Print, the Managed Partner List and Partner Red Carpet plans

 

  • Team

Qualifications

 

Skills and qualifications:

 

BS/BA degree required, MBA/Masters or an advanced degree preferred

10+ years of relevant experience in sales leadership and field sales excellence, in a global or multi-country environment preferred

Demonstrated ability to work effectively in high pressure / fast paced environments and consistently delivering on expectations

Strategic thinker and self-starter with exceptional business judgment and a proven track record of strong negotiation skills, building change management solutions by selling in the value proposition for change and driving win/win scenarios

Ability to operate at senior levels of the company, develop key strategies that facilitate execution of the business, and build successful relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally to help drive results

Deep understanding of sales and/or business and a proven aptitude for seeking creative solutions to multifaceted problems

Strong teamwork skills and ability to successfully drive cross-functional stakeholder consensus and action planning

Must be able to communicate effectively to all levels of the organization, work as a team or community leader, and demonstrated ability to influence senior managers to achieve consensus and drive results

Travel requirements 40%-50%
