We are currently looking for a Commercial Project Manager to join the Siemens Real Estate (SRE) team focusing on delivery of major projects across the Western European portfolio, particularly within the UK. SRE manage the Mobility portfolio, optimize space utilization, lead all aspects of operation of our real estate, including all real estate related services, are responsible for letting and sales, and implement all of Siemens' construction projects. Our aim is always to support the strategy of the company and its businesses as best we can, thus creating long-term value. Although this role is not location specific, you will be expected to travel into an office around 2/3 days a week. You will likely be supervising projects at our Goole and Chippenham facilities! What are my responsibilities? As Commercial Project Manager you will be responsible for the commercial handling of our national and international real estate projects - from project identification & preparation for approval, through planning & project development, to execution and handover. Your focus will be on strategically important projects with a significant own investment (CAPEX). During project realization, you will be responsible for all commercial project management tasks such as project controlling and contract management (co-costing, risk and opportunity management, NCC analyses, contract management) and will work closely with Purchasing (awarding of planning, consulting and construction services) as well as with our national subsidiaries. You will develop cost-effective solutions that are considered in the business case costing and prepare option comparisons to evaluate alternative scenarios. During the development phase of projects, you will work closely with neighboring departments and support their activities with your commercial expertise, e.g., on land issues, construction cost forecasts or rental pricing models. What do I need to qualify for the role? You must have a relevant Accountancy qualification CIMA/ ACCA or equivalent. You have professional experience in commercial project management, ideally in the real estate environment. You are confident in using SAP and MS-Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
