Eaton Industries (Canada) Company located in Edmonton, Alberta, has an opening for a 4-months internship opportunity in our Sales Department. Our Eaton – Edmonton sales office is responsible for sales, service and support of Eaton product including Electrical Distribution, Automation & Control, Power Distribution and Circuit Protection in the Ontario Sales region. The successful candidate will assist the Sales office with any / all inside sales functions including, but not limited to, quotations, technical / product support, data entry & analysis, order entry, and order management. Primary Responsibilities: Assist with inside sales – quotations, data entry & analysis, order entry, and sales support. Assist our quotation department with project / RFQ single line and specification review. Assist our quotation department with assembling quote packages and RFQ file management. Supply our outside sales team with inside sales support, such as fielding technical product inquiries, order entry, and order expedites. This work term will apply your theoretical knowledge, expand your understanding of the industry, and give you the opportunity to enhance your understanding of distribution and control. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: Currently enrolled in an accredited Electrical or Power Systems Engineering Degree or Diploma Co-op program, with 1 year of study remaining before graduation. Applicants can be enrolled in an accredited Technical Institution such as NAIT in Alberta from the Electrical Technology Program, or recent grad from such. Legally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship. This position does not offer relocation. Preferred Qualifications: 0 - 5 years of experience in manufacturing electrical power distribution and/or control products is considered an asset. Previous sales or customer service experience is considered an asset. Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong problem-solving skills and time management capabilities. Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics is considered an asset. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically PowerPoint and Excel is considered an asset. Passion for innovation & continuous improvement, and willingness to challenge status quo.
