You will be Financially & Commercially responsible for all Service & Small Works orders from inception to closure. The business operates in the Fire, Security, Building Management Systems and Internet of Things markets. A key requirement for this role is to deliver profitable growth through close collaboration with the Sales & Operational teams. The role will be based at our new Farnborough Office, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work remotely, with the requirement to visit the Office as the business requires. Your role will be: Responsible for support of Service & Small Works operations including but not limited to such tasks: Drive process improvements and the development of automated & digitalized tools to reduce transactional activity Accountable for providing the transparency of the financial performance of the Service & Small Works business areas Bid & Execution Support for Service & Small Works team, with a keen focus on cross functional collaboration Accountable for monthly forecasting including tracking & monitoring progress against forecast Timely delivery of month end activities and Data Validation, Reporting & Controlling for Small Works & Service Contractual awareness of what performance obligations (in line with IFRS15) we have with our customers with a desire to be involved in the negotiation of these contractual terms in the future Change the future with us We are looking for someone who embraces a growth mindset and learning with the ability to innovate, implement new processes, and explore new systems to improve financial performance. You will have experience working within a financial or commercial role with a strong customer focus. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to demonstrate initiative with flexible and proactive approach to work as this role will involve working independently If you have a curious mind, enjoy learning and want to develop in a forever changing environment, this could be the role for you.
