Job Description
Position Description: This is a people management sales leader position focused on Data Centre Group Business. Responsible for leading a sales team to drive revenue and profit in assigned territory (often across geography) in the commercial space through Business Partners and/or direct customer engagements: • Lead and motivate a sales team from the front to: ― Hold CXO level relationships/engagements with key Channel Partners and build Lenovo DCG Brand value proposition in the market place. ― Cultivate large deals with direct end-customer engagements and drive them to closure with support from cross functional teams. ― Maintain strong relationships with executives and influencers in the IT and Line of Business organizations in all assigned accounts. ― Establish trust and confidence with the customer with a consultative selling approach to address customer pain points. ― End to End ownership of opportunities – opportunity identification, creation, progression and closure. ― Entire Channel Management spectrum including planning  and executing partner marketing activities, promotions and incentives. ― Drive Partner enablement and certification to promote Lenovo Data Centre specific skills in the partner ecosystem. • Able to manage uncertainties and provide leadership in sales forecasting, achievement of sales targets and business growth. • Consistent track record of achievement of sales targets across product lines. • Hold regular cadence with team and build consensus with internal stake holders to drive growth cases in the market place. • Able to work with cross function teams (often across geographies) on technology and process engagements. • Ensure Business Partners' compliance to Lenovo standards of business conduct and integrity Business Partner compliance . #### Position Requirements: • A University Degree from a well-recognized tertiary institution, preferably in related discipline. • Minimum 10 years of successful track record of channel sales / direct sales experience in the IT market (preferably in a people management role). • Good communication skills. • Conversant with current data center technology trends.
