Duties

• Prepare and ensure availability of mis en place as required.
• Maintain a clean and hygienic work environment whilst ensuring a product of high quality and presentation standards. 
• Ensure strict stock rotation and minimum wastage. 
• Ensure your area of the kitchen is cleaned to the highest standards
• Ensure all equipment is maintained, serviced and cleaned.  Report any problems to the Executive Chef/Sous Chef.
• Receive deliveries, unpack produce and store stock
• General Kitchen cleaning tasks.

Work Experience

• Demonstrated knife skills and ability to efficiently prepare large quantities of mis en place.
• Completion of Food Safety/Food Handling course preferred.
• Ability to work independently and demonstrated initiative in a dynamic environment.
• Self-motivated and energetic
