Responsibilities: Prepare engineering drawings & documents, guide and monitor junior colleague, ensure correctness of documentation in line with guidelines and customer specifications, interface with customers / consultants/ internal departments for technical discussions & approvals, report progress (including risks). Prepare system integration procedure, supervise & conduct system integration tests / FAT /SAT in line with the procedure, review results to ensure that the delivered system meets the required project specifications. Conducting training of client, in- house engineers to maintain the system properly, to reduce engineering and commissioning time and to make the customer confidence in the system. Standardization of Engineering and Commissioning processes to reduce engineering and commissioning cycles, to minimize the non-conformance cost (internal & external) and to achieve process maturity. Ready to travel engineering and commissioning site in India. Skills, Qualifications and Experience: Education: BE/B. TECH in Electronics & Communication / Telecommunication engineering. 2–3-year experience in engineering and commissioning of ECI/Tejas Multiplexer, SIEMENS Connection master, SWT3000 & Powerlink. Good knowledge of SDH/PDH/MPLS-TP technologies & AutoCAD 2D/3D drawings. Preferably, good experience on communication protocols like IEC-104/101, Ethernet, TCP-IP, VLAN, VoIP etc. Preferably, good experience on ECI - LCT/EMS/NMS, Power SYS, MS-Excel, MS-Word, Outlook etc. Knowledge of communication interfaces like Ethernet, STM-n, E1, RS232, V.24, V.35, FXS, FXO, 2W4W E&M, C37.94 etc. System knowledge of: a. Copper Cable b. Optical Fiber Cable c. Coaxial Cable d. Transmission SDH, PDH & MPLS-TP e. Digital Teleprotection Coupler (DTPC) f. Power Line Carrier Communication (PLCC) g. Network switches and routers h.
