This is a Service Engineer role reporting to the Service Manager in the Business Area - Process Automation located in Shanghai, China.

Your responsibilities

• Being responsible for achievement of qualitative service works assigned by supervisor.
• Reporting project manager about site situation and service process according, keeping in line with ABB Ports operation and safety principle issued by top management.
• Providing service to customers to install, repair and maintain equipment properly, ensuring equipment in normal operation. Communicating with customers daily with ABB service plan to follow up the schedule.
• Following all service procedure strictly to ensure commissioning quality, site training being performed for customers, regularly reporting line manager about service status and safety issues.
• Following site office principle and site management, handing over final documents and working as a backup to project engineer after service close-out.
• Managing daily administration and document control according to ABB site office regulation.
• Working with oversea teams to do commissioning of ABB ports delivered Automation systems worldwide.

Your background

• Bachelor diploma or above, major in Electric Power automation or Mechanical and Electrical Integration.
• Relevant experience in Drive and PLC (Programmable logic controller).
• Good communication skills and teamwork spirit. Good at both verbal and written English.
• Willing to travel frequently (250days / year).
• Proactive, good communicator, flexible, self-motivated, positive & continuous learning attitude.
