MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure to Commodity Strategy implementation

• Drive benchmark activities within commodity (RFQ)

• Identify and manage introduction of “New to Develop” suppliers

• Award business to supplier after Sourcing Committee decision

• Lead negotiations with assigned suppliers

• Monitor and improve contractual situation

• Identify cost reduction opportunities at assigned suppliers (supplier’s propositions management)

• Drive the productivity Pipeline with the input of the suppliers and the CRP/XCDP Buyers

• Support XCDP/CRP buyers for commodity expertise

• Ensure problem solving in accordance with the escalation procedure

• Support Commodity Quality Engineer and Commodity Capacity Planner when problem solving cannot be handled at their stage

• Coordinate suppliers’ phase out process and strategic transfers

• Manage supplier tools replacement

• Negotiate and recharge COPQ with assigned suppliers

• Review action plan with supplier to achieve QCD Target

• Manage purchasing data in SAP (IR, SA, SL, ) and (partially) SRM

• Risk assessment of Commodity supply base

• Comply with WABCO and Sourcing & Purchasing rules and policies

• Improve processes in collaboration with S&P Business Improvement Team

EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in purchasing (not procurement) sourcing

• Automotive experience in matrix environment is an asset

• Experience in a Quality, Cost, Delivery driven environment
