Pooling of Demand across SI and C&S Single point of contact to supplier for commodity (Orders & resolution of major issues) Mandatory involvement in sourcing decision during Bid & Execution Stage in Projects Frame and Rate Contracts for the commodities and Products Supplier Management (Market scan, Prepare & implement Supplier Strategies, Supplier Qualification, Supplier data base for commodities) Rationalization & Correction of ESN Develop cost model with help of Cost value engineers (CVE) Tracking of price and technology trends for the commodity – Information Sharing through Commodity Report Monthly/Quarterly Commodity meeting with BU’s Risk Mitigation through alternate source identification.
