The position is responsible for leading the development and implementation of Sourcing projects and initiatives for the assigned commodities. He / She will also be responsible for the governance of AIA Group initiated strategies for the assigned commodities.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure strict compliance to procurement requirements aligned and as stipulated in the AIA and local sourcing policies. Ensure that Sourcing activities are carried out in a manner consistent with the highest professional, ethical, moral and legal standards.
• Analyze spend profile of the Philam Group to understand and develop plans for category transformations, key cost measures and drivers.
• Act as a business partner for the following spend categories: Corporate Services and Logistics, Consulting and Professional Services, Marketing and Advertising
• Drive the end-to-end handling of Sourcing activities for said categories, from identification, rationalization and accreditation of suppliers, bidding and awarding recommendations, contract management and negotiations, up to benefit tracking.
• Work with stakeholders in identifying, developing and executing data, report and dashboard requirements critical in the completion and execution of Business reviews. Manage critical success and standard metrics for implementations to measure utilization, sourcing processes and system performance across all applications within program.
• Work closely with the Head of Strategic Sourcing in educating stakeholders and building a risk-based supplier management culture.
• Drive and develop key supplier relationships that will benefit Philam Group.
• Act as a change support for different stakeholders in terms of issues, challenges and process improvements suggested and perform resolutions efficiently.
• Coordinate with the Superior for process and Service Level improvements for Sourcing initiatives / processes rolled out across the Philam Group.
• Perform other duties as may be assigned by the Superior, as strategically directed by AIA Sourcing Team, and as stipulated in the AIA and local sourcing policies.

Qualification Summary:

• Education: 4 year College Education of any business course like Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Business Management or Administration                 
• Preferred Experience: At least 8 years of experience in a Sourcing and Procurement managerial role
• Certifications/licenses: Supply chain / procurement memberships preferred
• Other preferences:
  • Experience in implementation of P2P systems, e.g. SAP or Ariba
  • Experience in project management and oversight
  • Demonstrated experience developing relationships with senior stakeholders and suppliers
• Excellent foundational written and verbal communication, facilitation, and presentation skills
