Job Description

As the Commodity Manager, you will be responsible for but not limited to:

  • Developing and managing internal and external relationships to provide sustainable cost, quality, availability, and technology solutions while adhering to procurement policies.
  • Partnering with a diverse stakeholder base to lead and develop multiyear commodity strategies based on business/market intelligence, long-term analysis of the category/commodity, and the supply ecosystem.
  • Acquiring and maintaining industry, market, and technical knowledge of commodities.
  • Leading supplier sourcing, selection, and performance management throughout the pathfinding/development lifecycle.
  • Supporting and negotiating contract terms, statement of works, and pricing for goods and/or services.
  • Driving cost-saving opportunities in partnership with suppliers and stakeholders to meet business objectives.


**May develop new supply chain models for new or existing products or services.**


Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • The candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field of study.

3+ years of relevant experience in:

  • Commodity Management
  • Supply Chain


Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA and/or professional experience in supply chain management.
  • Experience in commodity management and/or supplier management.
  • Experience with substrate manufacturing and/or factory operations.

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
