As a Commodity Manager for FMO (Fab Materials Organization), you will manage the execution of supply chain strategies for the Wet Chemicals and Filters Materials Group within the Fab Materials Org of Global Supply Chain. The successful candidate will ensure that Intel's wet chem and filter supply chain is enabled both short and long-term to meet technical requirements, operational expectations, and Intel's cost, quality, availability, and technology growth standards.
This role will involve hands-on experience to assist the team with strategy execution, systems management, and maintenance as well as enabling operational excellence and facilitating key negotiations and contracts, and delivering on long-term plans and business improvement processes.
This position requires a rigorous degree of program management coordination across environmental teams, Intel Technology Development, Corporate Services, Corporate Quality Network, Supply Chain, Finance, and others.
As the Commodity Manager for FMO, you will be responsible for but not limited to:
Coordinating purchasing activities with manufacturing and engineering departments to acquire chemical and direct materials in a globally cost-effective and timely manner.
Performing cost analysis and volume planning in conjunction with strategy development and execution to ensure Intel's supply chain is healthy and competitive.
Recommending cost-saving proposals including make versus buy analysis, alternative sourcing, and vendor evaluation criteria.
Influencing at all levels and bringing different perspectives together to drive a unified long-term supply chain strategy and short-term operational execution.
Acquiring and maintaining a technical understanding of products purchased and performing cost analysis and volume planning.
Obtaining materials, components, and services as needed and developing new supply sources where suppliers are inadequate.
Monitoring cost, schedule, and scope of assigned suppliers to assure the best quality at the best value.
Preparing and conducting analysis to facilitate critical decision-making and strategic negotiation.

Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. *This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.
Minimum Qualifications:
The candidate must possess at least one of the following degrees plus the years of experience determined for each degree in the areas specified below:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field of study with 6+ years of relevant experience.
Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field of study 4+ years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Program and/or Project Management Experience.
Commercial Supply Chain strategy, Supply Chain Operations, and Global Supplier Management experience.

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
