Job Description

As the Commodity Manager for Fab Materials, you will be responsible for but not limited to: 

  • Developing and managing internal and external relationships to provide sustainable cost, quality, availability, and technology solutions while adhering to procurement policies.

  • Partnering with a diverse stakeholder base to lead and develop multiyear commodity strategies based on business/market intelligence, long-term analysis of the category/commodity, and the supply ecosystem.

  • Acquiring and maintaining industry, market, and technical knowledge of commodities.

  • Leading supplier sourcing, selection, and performance management.

  • Negotiating purchasing contracts, statement of works, and pricing for goods and/or services.

  • Driving cost-saving opportunities in partnership with suppliers and stakeholders to meet business objectives.

  • Developing new supply chain models for new or existing products or services.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. *This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.

Minimum Qualifications:

The candidate must possess at least one of the following degrees plus the years of experience determined for each degree in the areas specified below:  

  • Ph.D. in degree in a technical field with 4+ years of experience in commercial supply chain strategy, negotiations, and global supplier management.

  • MBA or master's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or related field of study with 6+ years of experience in commercial supply chain strategy, negotiations, and global supplier management.

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or related field of study with 9+ years of experience in supply chain strategy, negotiations, and global supplier management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience leading supplier negotiations (commercial, legal, and technical), driving complex programs, and presenting execution strategies to key leadership.

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
