We are looking for a Communications Coordinator that helps drive business unit content for our various internal and external channels as well as helps to coordinate our communications tools and resources. What your day-to-day will look like: You will be crafting business related content that aligns with our communications strategy as well as help coordinate and update our communications tools and resources. In addition, you will be supporting our event logistics across North America. This individual needs to be motivated and an independent worker that has the abilities to keep the team organized with the various tools as well as a passion for content creation. More specifically, you will: Serve as a communications coordinator that keeps the team coordinated, handling tools such as Microsoft planner as well as various platforms (SMO Connect, PO Managing tool, etc.) Prioritize and lead events logistics across North America Supervise internal and external communications inboxes and draft appropriate responses Draft business unit content for web, social, and marketing content as well as internal newsletter content. Post content to employee intranet, app, and site eTVs. Work across time zones to work with business unit and communications colleagues on projects and deliverables Continuously bring new communications ideas that better the organization. Work directly with the Head of Business Unit Communications to support and complete BU Strategy tasks About You: Experience working in a professional setting Motivated to learn new tools and resources Organized Collaborative Love to write and tell stories Experience within or passion for the transportation industry Ability to travel up to 20% of the time About Our Company: We are a separately run company of Siemens AG.
