Job Purpose:
Amazing student learning experiences happen on our campuses every day. This person will contribute to the achievement of the Marketing team’s objectives by writing and developing content that helps share these stories with prospective families around the world, so they can learn more about the uniqueness of YCIS. The role also includes public relations activities and creative digital marketing support.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
• Writing and editing articles, and developing advertising materials that effectively represent and promote the truly international education program at YCIS;
• Building rapport and managing relationships with media, community partners, and the school community;
• Creating and updating promotional materials, such as advertisements and press releases;
• Assisting in the development of the strategic plan, as well as reporting, analysis, and implementation of key initiatives;
• Supporting a range of digital marketing initiatives;
• Overseeing and supporting promotional events;
• Developing and managing strategic projects as needed.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills / qualifications:
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Journalism, Business Management, or Communications;
• At least 5 years of professional experience in marketing, communications, journalism, or related fields;
• Excellent writing and editing skills, and the ability to develop creative story angles;
• Strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships;
• High level of initiative, and demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects with clear expectations and timelines;
• Native English speaker. Ability to converse in Mandarin a plus;
• Proficient at using Microsoft Office Suite software. Photography, design, and/or videography skills a plus;
• Able to occasionally work some irregular hours, overtime, and some weekends;
