Job Purpose

 

As a Community Engagement Manager for Data Services, your main goal is to lead our AI Community and implement and execute engagement initiatives to help grow our Data Services teams. The Community Manager is responsible for engaging amongst our global community. They are our ambassadors to the broader AI community and will focus on developing and implementing strategies to engage and build relationships with various internal and external groups, stakeholders, and organizations in Data Services. You can expect to collaborate with internal teams, including Operations, Quality, Recruiting and external partners.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Collaborate with partners and key stakeholders to understand community needs, build relationships, and align on program goals and initiatives
  • Define metrics and analytics to measure the effectiveness of community engagement efforts
  • Serve as an advocate for the community within the organization, ensuring their needs and feedback are considered in operations and beyond
  • Provide support and guidance to community members, answering inquiries, resolving issues, and addressing any program/project concerns
  • Create lasting impacts on the AI community through various engagement methods that could include
  • Planning and hosting remote events around program specific
  • Planning non-program related events to foster community morale
  • Design and execute community newsletters
  • Planning media engagement campaigns (through internal platforms and social media platforms)
  • Analyze and communicate the impact of the engagement team and strategies internally to program leaders and different stakeholders
  • Track and analyze engagement metrics, such as participation, satisfaction levels, and community growth, and report on progress internally
  • Collaborate with internal program teams to drive internal awareness and involvement in community engagement activities
  • Be the program’s point of community escalation: proactively addressing internal and external community issues
  • Support and identify potential community risks and develop engagement plans to proactively mitigate risks

 

 

Skills & Experience

 

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as communications, marketing, or social sciences. A master's degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience in community engagement, preferably in the context of data services, AI, technology, or related fields.
  •  Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to connect and engage with diverse audiences.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create compelling content and deliver engaging presentations.
  • Familiarity with data services, analytics, and related technologies, with a passion for promoting the value of data-driven solutions.
  • Experience in organizing and facilitating workshops, webinars, or training sessions.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to track, analyze, and report on community engagement metrics.
  • Proficiency in using social media platforms, content management systems, and other relevant tools for community engagement.

Base Pay:

$70,000 - $95,000 / year

 

Actual rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to: position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. Total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other perks, as outlined in any formal offer made.
