Compensation & Benefits Officer - Corporate Office

We are currently seeking a Compensation & Benefits Officer at the Corporate Office located in Hong Kong.

Acting as the compensation & benefits advisor for Wharf Hotels, the successful incumbent would drive our brand transformation by reviewing and executing a comprehensive compensation and benefits strategies aligned to our management philosophy and ensuring competitive compensation and benefits market alignment. Partnering with Assistant Director Human Resources, the incumbent will leverage our values and brand insights to ensure effective compensation & benefits management.

The Officer will have exposure to learning the talent landscape in Hong Kong, Greater China and the Philippines. The candidate will be responsible including but not limited to:

  • Review C&B projects, e.g. salary & bonus review, market survey and benchmarking, insurance renewal, tax filing, audit, etc.
  • Manage C&B daily operations, e.g. payroll, retirement scheme, employee benefits, tax filing, etc.
  • Monitor the performance of HRIS
  • Upskill HR services on local Compensation & Benefits programs where in scope
  • Prepare annual budget, cost analysis, salary proposals and various HR reports
  • Ensures full compliance with legal, labor relations, tax and social insurance requirements

 Your Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in Business Management or Human Resources Management or related discipline
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Human Resources or Payroll Administration
  • Experience in hospitality industry is an advantage
  • Well-versed in Employment Ordinance and other HR related regulations in Hong Kong and PRC is preferred
  • Strong analytical, reasoning and presentation skills
  • Fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese
