What you will do
Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. In this vital role you will report to the Regional Compensation & Benefits Lead and will design, implement, communicate, manage and govern Amgen’s Global Compensation & Benefits programs.
You will serve as a key member of the broader global total rewards team and interact regularly with HR and business leaders
With an eye towards advance analytics and digital innovation you will be asked to contribute new ideas and continuously evolve our compensation, benefits and recognition programs
Provide advice, consultancy and analytical support to your client groups
Design and implementation (incl. training and communication) of new compensation & benefits programs to ensure alignment with the market and corporate C&B philosophy
Support HRBPs in works council / union negotiations on C&B topics
Participate in global reward projects
Consult on retention strategies and provide recommendations (both financial and non-financial)
Coach and provide guidance on the execution of Amgen’s C&B philosophies and policies to HRBPs and Talent Acquisition
Act as a key advisor on job leveling and organizational design initiatives
Lead benchmarking initiatives to ensure compensation & benefits programs are market competitive and support the attraction, retention and recognition of top talent
Stay abreast of compensation trends and recommend strategies to support the talent needs of the organization
M&A integration support as required

What we expect of you

Proven experience and skills needed:
A Degree or similar qualification
Experience of ~5 years’ work in a Total Rewards / C&B position or C&B consulting position
Experience in compensation design, communication, technology and implementation
Strong project management experience
Fluency in English, both in written and oral communication
Excellent user of Office Programs as Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Preferred Requirements:
Studies specialized in HR, Statistics, Benefits etc.
Knowledge of consulting job evaluation and market rate methodologies (WillisTowersWatson, Mercer, Hay/KF etc.)
(International) consulting experience
Pharmaceutical Industry knowledge
Worked and lived abroad would be an asset
