You will become a part of the Intel Compiler Team that develops industry leading C/C++ and Fortran compiler products. Your focus will be on delivering the tools and infrastructure used by the compiler developers and QA team members to deliver these compiler that are used by Intel's customers across a wide range of industries to ensure that their applications take full advantage of Intel platforms' capabilities and performance.
In this position you will develop and support software tools to build and conduct stability and performance testing/analysis for Intel compilers. Some of these tools are developed internally, some are from the open source community, and some of them are from third party software tools providers. You will also work on providing leading edge software solutions and global infrastructure to help compiler developers and quality teams worldwide be more effective in their everyday work.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience or Master's degree and 1+ years of experience in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
Required years of experience in programming with software tools written in C#, JavaScript or Perl.
Experience debugging programs with any debugger
Working proficiency in English, both oral and written
Precise attention to details
Motivation to learn and improve processes and tools
Preferred qualifications and experience:
Knowledge of UNIX shells (bash, ksh, etc), HTML5 and related UI frameworks, Python
Basic knowledge of SQL
Familiarity with virtualization solutions (kvm, SIMICS, etc) Familiarity with source control systems such as git/svn
Working knowledge of the Linux, macOS, and Windows operating systems

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
