They look to continue to expand their legal and compliance set up in China.

• Helping to establish and periodically update policies, procedures, training, and monitoring in relation to interactions with healthcare professionals and other third parties, to ensure they appropriately reflect relevant legal and regulatory requirements;
• Partnering closely and interact effectively with internal clients to understand business challenges and provide guidance, counseling, and solutions to address the challenges;
• Ensuring the proper review and documentation of events, donations and sponsorship activities;
• Providing guidance on promotional and non-promotional practices under statutory and regulatory requirements
• Supporting compliance training for employees and 3rd party.
• Performing due diligence on potential distributors and other third parties;
• Assisting in the review and monitoring of medical events or activities.
• Communicating with global to update on policies and following procedures

• Experience in China as a compliance officer of a business unit, or relevant anti-corruption experience within a major international or Chinese law firm;
• Mandarin Chinese and English proficiency required;
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills. Detail-oriented and well-organized;
• Team player who can easily handle shifting priorities, multi- tasking in a deadline oriented environment;
• 7+ years relevant multinational law firm or in-house experience. Experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry required.
