Compliance Specialist, Training & Communications (APAC)

Job Description

The OEC APAC Compliance Training and Communications Specialist will support healthcare compliance and data privacy training and communications activities throughout the APAC region. Specific duties and responsibilities within these areas include:

Training

  • Support APAC affiliates in the creation and management of local compliance training plans based on annual Compliance Activity Review (CAR) documents, Internal Audit findings, and other sources
  • Create and revise compliance and data privacy training materials at a regional level and support local training needs as requested
  • Create e-learning content for use at the regional and affiliate levels using online learning management systems
  • Deliver training in affiliates as requested, through MS Teams, Webex, or similar online platforms. Occasional travel and in-person training may be required.
  • Support affiliate OEC teams in tracking the completion of assigned training programs. Track and report on training completion against affiliate plans.
  • Support/execute a distributor training program in the APAC region
  • Work with global OEC training team and other regional OEC personnel on global training projects and best practices sharing
  • Such other tasks as may be assigned

Communications

  • Draft and edit newsletters and communication materials for distribution by OEC and business leaders in the APAC region
  • Represent APAC region in global OEC teams organizing global Compliance Week activities and Diversity & Inclusion activities
  • Work with Ethics & Compliance Officer, APAC, to manage and facilitate APAC OEC team monthly meetings
  • Such other tasks as may be assigned

Skill, Education, and Experience

  • Strong written and spoken English language skills
  • Ability to manage numerous deadlines and priorities
  • Collaborative, team player
  • Experience creating engaging and interactive training and communication materials, preferably in the areas of healthcare compliance and/or data privacy
  • Comfortable interacting with people from all around the APAC region and the US and working with documents in multiple languages using commonly-available translation tools
  • Experience delivering training to diverse audiences at all levels of an organization
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience working with common training tools and platforms, such as WebEx, MS Teams, Kahoot!, Slido, Brainshark, Sum Total, and similar systems, preferred
  • Familiarity with medical device and/or pharmaceutical compliance rules and practices, and/or data privacy compliance, is strongly preferred
  • Work experience in healthcare compliance preferred
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent required
  • Minimum 3 years relevant work experience
