In a transaction valued at $9B, Intel Corporation is spinning-off its NAND Memory Business—a global leader in the design and manufacture of integrated circuits and solid-state drives (SSDs) for use in data centers, personal computers, and other devices—to form an independent company that will be a subsidiary of parent company SK hynix.

The new company will be headquartered in San Jose, California, with aspirations to conduct an IPO and become a publicly traded U.S. company. As the current head of Intel’s Memory Business, Rob Crooke will lead the new company as CEO, with a number of Intel executives and senior leaders joining him to stand-up and grow the new company. The new venture combines elements of an established, successful Silicon Valley technology company with the spirit, agility, and entrepreneurial mindset of a start-up.

In addition to the U.S. headquarters and other facilities in the U.S., the company has a significant international presence in Asia, Europe, and the Americas. The newly formed company will continue to lead the world in innovating new Memory technologies and will soon be the second largest NAND memory company in the world by revenue.

Process Engineer works with  Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly and Test (OSAT) manufacturing companies to maximize output while improving the quality and efficiency of the operations.  As the content expert of Assembly Test manufacturing, you will be working closely with subcon Engineering team, on site or remotely, and our internal technical teams, to analyze the production data and to define the optimum process targets. Recommend modifications for operating the equipment in order to improve production efficiencies, manufacturing techniques and optimizing production output for existing products. Exercise independent judgement and discretion by making recommendations when something has changed on the line or proactively in order to maximize output. Develop solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgement. Lead task force in trouble shooting situations, continuous improvements and breakthroughs of the tools/module.  Lead cost saving initiation for maximization factory quality output and cost performance. Feedback learning to New Product Introduction (NPI) team to enable a robust High Volume Manufacturing (HVM) process. Adjust to multitasking environment.  Possessing project management skills.

Minimum Requirements:

• The candidate must have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Material Science or related discipline.
• 5 years of previous work experience in Semiconductor manufacturing, process engineering, quality and reliability, or technology development. 
• Fluent in English and Chinese with good communication skills.
• Willing to travel to subcon regularly.
• Experience of managing OSAT manufacturing will be a plus.
