Intel Israel has an opening for a student position in the Component Debug Engineering team focused on post-Silicon product design enabling and optimization. If you like solving challenging puzzles and deep diving into new domains - this position is for you.

You will be part of Intel's center of excellence for Silicon design debug supporting Client products.

This team resolves product quality and performance issues blocking products from going to market. This is typically due to combinations of design and manufacturing problems.

Component debug is a critical ingredient to Intel's strategy of enabling strong design debug support for our entire product portfolio and scaling it going forward. Come and join our small and amazing Component Debug group. You will be a part of a team that solves the processor critical issues like power, performance and yield.

As part of your job you will be responsible for managing inventory (of silicon chips) and performing initial analysis of data collected to ensure efficient follow up by experienced engineers. If you are open minded and a quick learner you will learn about the CPU structure, tests structure, design and learn about the different lab tools that help us isolate problems down to the transistor level. In addition to all the above - this position provides an excellent possibility to overview the entire semiconductor business.

Qualifications

- B. Sc. in Electrical Engineering with at least 3 semesters till graduation
- Ability to commit to 3 days a week (not including exam periods)
- Problem solving skills (open minded and 'thinking out of the box)
- Knowledge in analyzing digital circuits
- Basic knowledge in Python or scripting - a big advantage

Manufacturing and Product Engineering (MPE) is responsible for test development across product segments, supporting 95% of Intel's revenue. We deliver comprehensive pre-production test suites and component/physical debug capabilities to enable high quality, high volume manufacturing.

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
