Component Engineer

Location: Suzhou, China

What you will do:

• Research component suppliers, collaborating with R&D and procurement departments to reduce costs, improve quality and reliability;
• Design and implement related component tests, collect and analyze data and draft reports;
• Develop and maintain component testing equipment and testing methods, including parameter validation, life testing and failure analysis;
• Draft and maintain component-related documents collection;
• Initiate and track the engineering changes related to components;
• Track and execute supplier components changes;

What you should have:

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering or Automation;
• More than five years relevant working experience;
• Familiar with electronic components industry and supply chain;
• Proficient in electronic components technology including semiconductors, passive/active, electromagnetic, electromechanical and other components;
• Understanding of power electronics and switching power supply;
• Understand the process of product development from design to production;
• Good communication and English skills;
