About Role:

As part of the HPC server team, this component engineer lead is expected to
work with peer functions as a team to development the leading edge Lenovo high
performance computer offerings.
Seeking an individual who can drive component selection, qualification and
usage on a design and/or component category. You will work closely with a
cross functional team of electrical and mechanical engineers, manufacturing,
contract manufacture and component vendor to coordinate and facilitate the
execution of the product's quality needs.

You must be responsive, flexible and able to succeed within a fast-paced
environment. In this role, you will:
• Execute the component qualification test for electronic parts. Include
created the test plan, execute the test and feedback the result to development
team.
• Component quality management. Include created the audit plan, collection the
component issue, execute the qualify process and feedback the result to
development team.
• Define Quality Metrics and implement measurements to determine test
effectiveness, testing efficiency.
• Ensure our component meet high standards of quality, performance, Security,
and reliability
• Help tackle engineering challenges and contribute creative ideas to the
engineering teams
• Ensure Critical component technology changes are caught early so Development
engineers know and design-in updated technologies and not EOL components

#### Position Requirements:


Requirements

• 5+ years of component management and hands-on experience with component test
execution
• Experience building and designing component test cases including knowledge
of test methodologies
• Experience in working with overseas CM/OEM/ODM Vendors in product
development
• Proven ability to deliver in a changing environment
• Experienced in gathering requirements and providing specifications
• Comfortable with writing and communicating to peer and management in both
Mandarin and English

Preferred Requirements

•  10+ years of work experience in Component Engineering, Manufacturing,
and/or Technical Procurement
•  Knowledge of Green international standard requirements and component safety
requirements
