Job Duties:

• Monitor server console
• Remote system Support
• Mount tape in tape libraries, maintain software applications, operating systems and regular maintenance
• Assist in transport backup tape and disks to offsite locations
• Troubleshoot and escalate on batch job failures and assist in fixing these problems
• Daily IT Operations tasks, e.g. shutdown of specified databases and application jobs, initiate backup etc.

Requirements: 

• F.5 / DSE / Diploma or above in IT related subjects
• At least 1 year’ experience in Data Center Operation
• Solid experience in Windows Servers, Linux and or Network skills
• Solid experience in system support
• Self-driven and able to work independently
• Able to communicate in English and Chinese (Cantonese) is a plus
• 7x24 shift duty is required
• Applicants must be a permanent Hong Kong resident
