YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

The primary responsibilities of this role, Computer Science Engineering Co-Op, are to: 

 

  • Design, develop, document and deploy data visualization reports, dashboards, tools and insights to support Pipeline Delivery packaging operations and up/downstream stakeholders of optimal on-time delivery of products;
  • Meet with users to understand their analytic needs and suggest best ways to visualize the data;
  • Create visualizations that transform sophisticated data into more accessible, understandable and usable to drive impactful insights;
  • Improve existing data processes and pipelines by implementing automation, troubleshooting, data tuning and performance concepts creatively;
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and documentation of all developed dashboards and reporting;
  • Conduct operation research to optimize processes and identifying the probable causes of workload variances;
  • Identify upstream supply chain deliverables that can be used as leading indicators for on time delivery.

Required Qualifications:

 

  • Currently enrolled in a Master’s or Ph.D in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or STEM field;
  • Experience in developing Business Intelligence;
  • Visualization methods/techniques spotfire, Microsoft BI or other data visualization tools;
  • Knowledge in SQL, Tabular R or other programming language;
  • Experience in Data Acquisition and Manipulation;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Ability to leverage data driven decisions and create digital summarizations and insights;
  • Ability to work 40 hours from January through June 2021.
