The appointee will be assigned to the Centre’s Network Team of Infrastructure Services, and will be responsible for (a) providing support to IP Phone and Data Port services for various departments in the University; (b) providing support to IP-based security control systems; and (c) performing other IT support tasks as assigned by the Centre. Working on shift and public holidays may be required.
Applicants should have (i) a Certificate or Diploma in an Information Technology-related discipline from a recognised university or technical institute; (ii) excellent communication and interpersonal skills; (iii) a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); and (iv) outgoing and self-motivated personality. Experience in data and voice networking support is highly preferred. Project management experience will be advantageous.
Appointment will initially be made on a 1- or 2-year contract (with contract-end gratuity for a 2-year contract), renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
