Job Description

We are seeking a strong Computer Vision algorithms developer to join Intel’s AICV R&D team within IDI, a group dedicated to developing cutting-edge and disruptive technologies for new ground breaking products and applications.

 

Who are we? 

Incubation and Disruptive Innovation (IDI) is a spearhead group at Intel dedicated to accelerating technological advancement and go-big strategies across Intel. AICV is the core R&D team within IDI focused on Computer Vision and AI capabilities, in a wide range of applications and segments. Our team develops state-of-the-art algorithms in fields such as face recognition, person tracking, autonomous navigation, personal healthcare, and more, employing cutting-edge technology and innovation to bring ambitious AI projects to life. The team consists of computer vision and deep learning experts, data engineers, software engineers, and hardware engineers, supporting the full development cycle of advanced AI and CV capabilities from data collection, to algorithm development, testing, and deployment.

 

Who are we looking for?

We are seeking a motivated Computer Vision engineer who will research and develop innovative solutions for a wide range of applications – such as object detection, segmentation, tracking, navigation and more – using the most advanced and up-to-date techniques. Join us to build smart Computer Vision based products and solutions, create and implement novel machine learning and computer vision algorithms, and solve challenging problems in domains such as robotics, home and health care, human interaction, and more.


Qualifications

Minimum Qualification 
  • M.Sc./Ph.D. in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering, focused on Computer Vision, Image Processing, or a related field
  • At least 3 years practical experience in Computer Vision R&D
  • Strong knowledge of Python

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Good Mathematical background
  • Experience working with 3D data, point clouds, and/or SLAM
  • Strong programming skills, including OOP and modern development paradigms

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
