The hotel offers 238 rooms, an on trend open kitchen and bar and meeting venues for up to 120 delegates. Our hotel offers two beautifully appointed meeting rooms which can be used separately or combined to suit events up to 80 attendees.

Reporting to our Food & Beverage Management team, the successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Hotel’s function facilities, ensuring that room setup, service and sequence are delivered according to guest expectations and our service standards. This role is ‘hands on’, working as part of a team to provide efficient food & beverage service.

In this role you will:

  • Ensure the day-to-day operation of the function facilities of the Hotel are set up as per function sheets
  • Liaise with Management for all Beverage and Stock ordering for your conference operations ensuring adequate supplies
  • Work closely with the Hotel teams to ensure smooth transitions from sales to operations
  • Ensuring that the function sheet is up to date, and the information contained in it is clear for all the team
  • Briefing the functions team regarding upcoming events
  • Ensure all Conference & Events equipment is well maintained & any concerns are logged with Engineering for follow up
  • Liaise closely with the conference & events sales and kitchen teams regarding the upcoming events with particular emphasis on final numbers, menu changes, food service times, guest expectations, etc.
  • Liaise with Management on queries/concerns received from clients relating to servicing of functions
  • Ensure function areas after every function are cleaned after service and resetting the rooms where required

  • Experience in food & beverage operations and events roles within a dynamic and busy environment
  • A creative flair and a natural ability to generate ideas to make our functions great and to
  • A genuine caring approach that creates engage our guests
  • The ability to work within a team and build report with all departments in the business
  • Highly organised self-starter with the ability to effectively manage priorities
  • Projects a professional image through presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Have the ability to think on their feet and problem solve
  • Excellent communication skills with fluency in English on a business level; additional languages are a plus
  • A high standard of grooming and presentation
  • Availability to work on a seven days rotating roster AM and PM shifts
