Conference, Events & Groups Executive

Our Hotel

Novotel Ibis Melbourne Central is a 472 room dual hotel complex incorporating two Food and Beverage outlets; Pretty Boy Steakhouse, Floyds Bar and three event spaces.  Located at 399 Little Lonsdale Street, the hotel is right in the heart of Melbourne CBD next to Hardware Lane and a short stroll to the Melbourne Central shopping precinct and Emporium. The perfect location for both business and leisure travellers. 

The role

As the Conference, Events & Groups Executive you will be responsible for all aspects of Conference & Events and Group bookings for the Hotel. Primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Meeting the needs of secured conference business from compilation of event order through to on site management of the event and appropriate after function follow up.
  • Ensure smooth management of all group accommodation bookings in conjunction to the Reservations and Revenue Manager.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships with existing and potential clients.

About you

You are a multi-tasker and are able to work independently, performing a wide range of complex and confidential administrative duties to support Sales & Marketing and Reservations. You communicate well with all contacts, anticipate and resolve issues, and have a demonstrated commitment to providing exceptional customer service and guest experience.

You have outstanding attention to detail and well developed verbal and written communication skills.
