Pullman and Mercure Brisbane King George Square is located in the CBD and is Brisbane’s largest contemporary style hotel, featuring 438 guestrooms, extensive conferencing facilities for up to 1000 people, and several dining outlets including Goldfinch Restaurant and Award Winning Rooftop Bar, Sixteen Antlers.

If so, we now have an opportunity for an experienced Conference and Events Sales Executive to join our amazing team. This this role is perfect for someone wanting to gain exposure and grow their Conference and Event Sales career.
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Undertaking administrative duties including, including BEO preparation, sales reports and tracking, client account management/ finance posting and department administration.
- Ensure accuracy of information and effectively communicate between clients and the hotel event operations team.
- Support the hotel in exceeding the client’s expectations to ensure client satisfaction and repeat business
- Hosting client familiarisations and site inspections that deliver a WOW factor and leave a positive lasting impression for our clients.
- Maximize revenues by upselling Hotel services and facilities at every opportunity.
To be successful in this role you will have a proven track record of performance, as well as:
- Previous sales experience including outbound calling and meeting established KPIs
- Knowledge of OPERA Sales & Marketing systems and Delphi (desirable, but not essential)
- Offer outstanding service by providing the real deal to clients
Strong administration and coordination skills, especially in regards to deadline - Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite essential
- The ability to find the “yes” in every situation, excellent attention to detail and great customer service skills
- Excellent communication skills and professional telephone manner
- A friendly, outgoing personality and a high standard of personal presentation
- Excellent attention to detail
