To meet the regulatory and AIA Group requirements on connected transaction management and corporate governance.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Implement connected transaction related laws and regulations with alignment of AIA Group standards
  • Prepare and maintain connected transaction management policies and procedures
  • Collabrate with all business functions, including Finance Legal, Compliance, Tax & Treasury and Investment, in day-to-day management of connected transactions;
  • Liaise with AIA Group Company Secretary and Legal teams for connected transaction matters.
  • Organize and manage Board Connected Transaction Committee and Management Connected Transaction Office meetings, including working with other functions on meeting agenda, meeting materials and follow up actions.
  • Maintain the connected party name list and transaction register;
  • Prepare regulatory reports and external disclosures about connected  transactions.
  • Responsible for the construction, management, optimization and daily maintenance of connected transaction system;
  • Support corporate governance and board operations, such as director and supervisor performance appraisal (董事监事履职评价), CBIRC Corporate Governance Self-Assessment, director and supervisor training plan etc.
  • Perform other responsibilities and duties assigned by management on ad hoc basis

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor or above degree
  • At least 5 years working experience in insurance company, and with hands-on experience of connected transaction management in board office, compliance or legal function; Having relevant legal, compliance, or finance background would be beneficial
  • Solid knowledge and sound understanding of regulatory requirements on connected transaction management and corporate governance of financial institutions
  • Proven capability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Well-organized, self-motivated, detail-minded and able to work independently
  • Bachelor or above degree holder
  • Fluent in both Chinese and English
