Job Description
The Connection Programs Team at National Instruments is seeking a practiced, creative professional to develop and drive fun, purposeful experiences that encourage employees to connect with one another and appreciate them for choosing NI to grow their careers with. The ideal candidate thrives on a collaborative global team, can juggle multiple projects, and loves organizing people and events while driving towards results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Designs and plans employee experiences that encourage social connection between employees and appreciation of, such as Appreciation Week.
  • Executes events efficiently and effectively while building strong relationships with campus facilities, catering, external vendors, and administrative teams.
  • Drives campaigns and activities that improve employee well-being.
  • Supports regional employee-centric Corporate Social Responsibility activities.
  • Partners closely with communications teams to drive awareness and participation in programs.
  • Evaluates all activity with a special emphasis on demonstrating measurable ROI and regular benchmarking of industry and talent peers.
  • Collaborates with peers including employee committees, department assistants, and other HR functions to understand/provide experiences for employees across the Americas region.
  • Demonstrates professionalism, positivity, and exceptional customer service at highly visible events including all employees and executives.
  • In partnership with global colleagues, creates strategies, processes, and guidance for connection programs and engagement events in the APAC region.
Qualifications
Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communication, marketing, human resources, or related field
  • 3-5 years of related experience
  • Event planning expertise
  • Excellent communication skills including verbal, writing, and editing; rigorous attention to detail and quality
  • Professional and positive attitude with superior customer service
  • Ability to establish and foster strong working relationships and community partnerships
  • Demonstrates agility and a solution-oriented nature when faced with obstacles
  • Strong project management skills; capable of managing multiple projects and adhering to timelines while working across a variety of stakeholders for input
  • Ability to collaborate remotely and effectively with virtual teams; take morning and evening video calls as needed
  • Flexible hours to support events including ability to arrive early in the morning and/or depart late after evening events or attend weekend events as requested (generally 1-3 times per month with advanced notice).
  • Not required, but preferred: candidate has Corporate Social Responsibility experience and/or insight
