As a Construction Environmental Health Safety Engineer your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Recognize, evaluate, and control of those environmental factors or stresses arising in or from the workplace that may cause sickness, impaired health, or injury among the employees and/or citizens of the community.
  • Coordinate the monitoring of workplace environments and acts as a liaison to appropriate regulatory agencies.
  • Respond to customer/client requests or events as they occur.
  • Develop solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgement.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Position not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.

Minimum Qualifications:

Candidate must have one of the followings:

  • A Bachelor's degree, Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental, EHS, Industrial, Fire Safety, or other related Safety or Environmental Engineering major with 6+ years of experience.

  • Master's degree Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental, EHS, Industrial, Fire Safety, or other related Safety or Environmental Engineering major with 4 years of experience.

  • PhD in Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental, EHS, Industrial, Fire Safety, or other related Safety or Environmental Engineering major with 2+ years of experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience should be in the following areas:

  • Construction EHS.
  • Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST).
  • Safety, Industrial Hygiene or related field.
  • Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) designation.
  • Regulations including federal EPA, OSHA, NFPA and other applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Office tools (Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Sound engineering principles and technical problem solving.
