This position is a Facilities Contracts Manager as an individual contributor who will be a leader in sourcing negotiations contracting and management of a full range of construction contracts supporting Intel's Arizona site. This position will work closely with management from design engineering finance legal and fab construction teams to deliver complex projects enabling Intel's manufacturing capacity. This FCM position is part of the Construction Facilities Supply Chain (CFSC) within the Global Supply Chain Organization.
As the Construction Facilities Contract Manager , you will be responsible for but not limited to:
- Developing strong relationships with internal partners as well as critical suppliers.
- Deliver results to meet CFSC key objectives around Cost Quality, Availability, Technology, and Safety.
- Lead the team through the construction contracting efforts through the entire CFSC Life cycle.
- Strategic Sourcing, Procurement Planning, Bid Evaluate Negotiate, and Execution.
- Manage project procurement resources to direct project procurement activities required to support the planning and execution of the project procurement operations.
- Source and qualify new and existing key suppliers to enable the execution of the work.
- Develop and present a rationale for construction contracting and compensation strategies.
- Participate in the development and execution of contracts used to procure design construction and other related services.
- Learn market conditions and use that knowledge in sourcing strategies.
- Role model standard business processes and ensure compliance with corporate fiscal legal environmental and risk management policies to limit corporate liability.
- Learn and use procurement systems necessary to support project procurement operations.
- Review and update working procedures documents and systems to keep pace with project requirements competition and market innovation.
- Maintain performance metrics to measure the performance of the teams responsible for cost savings on time and quality performance.
- Provide training and coaching to construction project managers buyers and project team members on business processes and related tools.
- Facilitate resolution of any contract disputes.
- Provide expertise on construction contracting methods.
- Know the relationship between contractual responsibilities and assignment of risk along with the understanding of the relationship between construction costs quality and schedule

Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
- The candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Construction Management, or any related field.
- 4+ years of experience in Supply Chain management contracts management or construction project management.
- This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA or other Masters degrees.
- Experience in the construction industry with complex projects, especially technology/manufacturing.
- Knowledge of contracts contract law and claims management processes and procedures.
- Procurement planning and procurement policy expertise.
- Supply chain and supplier management skills.
- Project management skills and methods application.
- Data analytical skills breaking complex problems into smaller components for resolution.
- Awareness of the local regional market with industry trends and norms.
- Maintains perspective and confidence in face of difficult contract negotiations exceptionally tight deadlines and client expectations.
