Position Summary:

 

Bentley requires an experienced Consultant and Technical Coach to join our Professional Services team. This team works with customers from day one ensuring the products and solutions implemented are fit for purpose and meet the requirements of the project and of the user organisation.

 

You will support and enable the successful project delivery of the Business Collaborator (BC) products to a high level of customer satisfaction, by providing consultancy, configuration, training and coaching services for Bentley Users and Partners globally.

 

Your Day to Day:

 

  • Gathering and coordinating requirements and associated customer data and documentation for review.
  • Engage with Customers and support the delivery team in defining the scope of work for projects.
  • Coordinate and manage the production of estimates and proposals for Customers.
  • Support Customers on future system design needs and impact analysis.
  • Actively lead and deliver projects including upgrades.
  • Configuration and testing of Customer systems.
  • Participate in and support Customer workshops and meetings onsite, remote or in Reading.
  • Communicate business needs not addressed by the core solution to the Product team.
  • Ensure project deliverables are met according to time, budget & resource constraints.
  • Develop and present agreed solutions (written and orally).
  • Configure and test the applications.
  • Design, plan and deliver onboarding strategies through blended learning and coaching.
  • Manage and develop e-learning content for BC solutions.
  • Lead and guide customer change-management activities as part of integrating the BC solution into the User’s organization.
  • Prepare onboarding documentation and content.
  • Assist in Pre-Sales activities where appropriate; e.g. conducting product demonstrations and presentations, contributing to sales proposals, help to identify potential users.
  • Provide assistance to Technical Support to ensure quick resolutions of problems and continued user success.
  • Ensure projects comply with Bentley solutions methodology.
  • Work independently and with initiative, be able to self-motivate and engage with colleagues when required.
  • Representing Bentley internally and externally in a professional manner.

 

What You Bring to the Team:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.  Equivalent work experience will be considered.
  • Experience in the UK AECO Industry and/or delivery of SaaS solutions and/or working in a project environment required.
  • Experience in delivering software training and coaching advantageous.
  • Able to meet and engage effectively with customers to determine their requirements around Business Process, Document Management, Project Delivery, Information Management and Reporting.
  • Ability to engage all levels of the project team and working within the constraints of cost, quality and time.
  • Experience of delivering software training and coaching advantageous.
  • Ability to travel extensively within the UK (on average 2-3 days per week) and overseas when required – travel to Head Office in Reading regularly.
  • Understanding of ISO19650 and BIM preferable.
  • Experience of BC Projects or other similar CDE applications advantageous.
  • Experience in developing learning content and e-learning tools a bonus.
