Job Description

Working Relationships

l Internal – Business unit head, eCommerce consulting team’s mid-management, executive, supervisor or other departments relevant managers and staff

l External – Key contact person from client side, usually head of eCommerce team or executives from big FMCG companies (mostly foreign ones)


Job Description

l Lead the team to deliver eCommerce strategy projects or eCommerce/digital activation projects and driving actionable solution to our clients in Digital and eCommerce based on numerous eCommerce/digital data and insights

l Normal work contents include: client meetings, client brief understanding, proposal writing, project design, development and delivery by report, presentation or workshop, as well as client follow-ups.

l Project type:

  • Typical eCommerce consulting projects would cover eCommerce RMT design, portfolio and pricing design, online shopper marketing and activation design, customer plan, operation strategy, organization and investment design based on in-depth understanding of consumer, shopper and category online
  • eCommerce/Digital activation project: would require the skill to use Alibaba strategy center/data bank to convert the traditional consumer and shopper insights into consumer segmentation on eCommerce platform to enable our clients to find their right consumers and better design their media and contents strategy based on solid understanding of eCommerce platform’s ecosystem and digital media/contents knowledge.

l New client development and client relationship maintenance

l Team development, coaching and mentoring is also expected in this role

l Public event speech and thought leadership development

Job Requirements

l Bachelor or above Degree (Top China or Global universities)

l At least 3-5 years’ work experience s in eCommerce and digital related consulting projects, eCommerce data analysis, online consumer and path to purchase analysis, digital media marketing and planning, and eCommerce/digital marketing research.

l Preferred with working experience in international FMCG companies or digital/eCommerce agencies

l Solid understanding of China eCommerce, digital and media environment

l Experience in Alibaba or JD marketing and analysis tools and systems

l Data Analytical and logical

l Fluent in English and Mandarin

l Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

l Proficient in office software, esp. in PowerPoint

l Team oriented, and be willing to work under pressure

l Self-motivated, result-driven, full of passion, and inspire morale of the team
